We would highly recommend The Travel Store for planning trips. Very professional and most accommodating.
Janene listened to our list of travel destinations, together with suggestions of her own gleaned from her experience as a travel director. She incorporated all suggestions into a well organised and thorough itinerary: Hanoi, Halong Bay – (cruise) Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Janene also organised the visas and travel insurance (two less things to think about).
The hotels were up to expectations – appropriate standards with appetising breakfast included. The locations of each hotel were central to allow for easy travel around each destination.
The tour operator “on the ground” provided knowledgeable, experienced guides who spoke good English. Having ‘private ‘ tours allowed us to feel very spoilt, especially the personal cruise along the Mekong (we were the only passengers).
There were many, many highlights during our trip but the ones that we enjoyed the most was the visit to the Community Village and Angkor Wat in Siem Reap and the cruise along Halong Bay – just beautiful!We would highly recommend The Travel Store. Very professional and most accommodating. We will certainly be using Janene for the next trip.

Hi Denise,
Just wanted to thank you for organising the travel to and from Taiwan. I got home on Saturday afternoon. All went really smoothly.
The trip was hugely successful with gold in the men’s team event and gold and bronze in the men’s individual.
I’ll be writing a proposal for 6-8 trips over the next 12 months, so will be in contact again soon.

As you are aware, my wife and I arrived in the afternoon of 23 September (2014) after approximately 20 hours of travel. That day was day was also my 60th birthday.
On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by Felicia, who showed us to the Front Desk. Here, Karen attended to our registration, and immediately wished me a Happy Birthday. She then informed us that ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible and for the Ritz-Carlton to be involved in and to recognise the occasion of my birthday, we would be upgraded to a Premier Suite. Felicia then escorted us to the suite (a beautifully appointed suite with 180 degree views of the Marina Bay, city and Singapore Flyer) where I found a banner across a large window wishing me a Happy 60th Birthday and 3 lovely framed photographs of me around the suite.
Later that evening, on returning to the hotel, we discovered a birthday cake had been delivered to our suite, with a handwritten card and a voucher for a traditional bubble bath.
Whilst writing this e-mail, delivered to our suite, were strawberries and chocolate, together with 2 Ritz-Carlton polo shirts. This was also accompanied by another lovely handwritten card from Karen.
Later that evening, on returning to the hotel, we discovered a birthday cake had been delivered to our suite, with a handwritten card and a voucher for a traditional bubble bath.

Our plane leaves tomorrow at 6pm. Earlier this afternoon, I enquired with the Front Desk in we could extend our check-out time from noon to 1pm, at which time we would travel to the airport. This request was immediately granted without issue.
I want to pass on to you our gratitude for your excellent customer service and the support you have shown to us. Being away from family on an important milestone was somewhat of a let-down on the day, with the demanding travel schedule also a contributing factor. Our experience at the Ritz-Carlton on that and the following days was much appreciated. The experience has given us something special to not only remember this occasion, but also to share with our family and friends.
We will wear the polo shirts with pride.
The Ritz-Carlton was recommend to us by our travel agent, whom I have included in this e-mail for her information and passing on to future clients. Thanks Janene.
We will take pleasure in spreading the word about the service of the Ritz-Carlton. I hope in future travel, we can support the Ritz-Carlton organisation.

I thought you'd like to hear about our wonderful, fantastic, awesome holiday. It delivered on all fronts and ticked all the boxes. We both stayed well for the trip, and we loved everything we saw and did. All connections were on time and organised and the accommodation was great. We saw the Big Five, all in multiples except for the leopard, and were blown away by how close we were to the animals.
The Big Pluses : The Zambezi Queen, Nairobi Serena Hotel, your organisation, the animals, our guide in Tanzania, the helicopter flight over Victoria Falls
Overall we loved our holiday and appreciate your hard work to pull everything we wanted together. I am in the process of putting a photo book together, but I might have to make two because of the number of photos we have. I understand what you mean about the number of elephant shots you can take but you know they are all different and individual. We met many lovely people, quite a few of whom we will maintain contact with. The weather was kind to us even though we travelled during the wet season. It really was a trip of a lifetime

We had a wonderful weekend away in Melbourne last weekend. Thank you for doing such a fabulous job at organizing everything for us. Everything ran really smoothly while we were there and the Legally Blonde seats were excellent.

Thank you again for all of this. As Pauline said, the Neon tour was very, very good. Very professionally run, the tour guide was fabulous and everything worked perfectly. If there were any problems, hitches etc we did not know about them, so I think that speaks for the guide, drivers and the company. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sitting in Doha Lounge after 4 fantastic weeks away. Ticketing, customs and security for business class took less than 10 minutes in a special area for Qatar flights! All our pick ups, transfers etc. worked perfectly - many thanks to you as usual. Qatar airlines superb. Doha worth the visit and time to relax. Hotel Lotti, excellent, thanks for all your work.

This has been another great year. Travel was high on the agenda. To celebrate our 30thwedding anniversary Glen and I headed overseas to parts of Europe in May and June. We enjoyed every moment of it. Travelling business class by plane and first class by train our trip was quite comfortable. Our travel agent was excellent, and organised hotels in the middle of where we wanted to be, tours where we didn’t have to queue for hours and personal guides who spoke English and were honest. The weather was perfect with one day of rain only, so we walked and saw a lot. Our journey took us from Paris to Vienna to Budapest, then Bucharest, Istanbul, Rome and Amsterdam. All were so different and so interesting. We met many delightful people, explored each city, and discovered so much.
